Good cichlids for a 29 gallon community?

you wouldnt be disapointed with shell dwellers, ive got a 4' 55g multi colony and they are very entertaining to watch... always something going on with the multies.

    Molly birth gone wrong??

correct, chances are the move to the breeder box was a little premature and the stress caused her to drop eggs rather then fry

Just got a convict pair, i have some questions !:)

too be honest id think that dividing a 22g is a bit harsh for convicts realistically they arnt tiny fish and a 22g isnt big, so id buy an additional fry tank. as for the breeding aspect of them ive never kept them.

    Overcrowded fry tank

depends how long you intend to keep them in there and how its filtered. but if your just getting them to the point where they are big enough to not be eaten then putting them back into the main tank id say 20 or so.. just keep an eye on water quality

    10g quarantine tank with stocking?

keep an air powered box filter running in the main tank, you can just grab water and the box filter out when u need a hospital,QT or fry tank and you have an instantly cycled tank..

yeah i wouldnt do any of those in that tank. have a look at shell dwellers, you could do some nice shellies in that tank

Cichlid holding. No sure what to do.

think about it, there are 2 options; A. leave her be-she hasnt eaten in over 2 weeks so shes gonna be stressed but she should be fine. B. Strip her-if your worried and shes behaving odd why not just strip her the fry are free swimming at this point, you lose nothing by doing this
