List of heavy-lite waste producing fish?

Does anyone know of a site that lists the fish by how heavy a bio-load they are? [ie-kuhli loaches are very easy on the bio load. Bettas are a lot heavier etc] It would help a lot deciding between fish sometimes.

Dec-Jan: Lets hear about those bargains!

bargins If your looking for bargains check out the local auctions. I missed a 100 gallon for $25 with all the equipment. They also sold a 125 for $8 because it only had the canister filters-no heaters or stuff. Many of the local auction houses sell stuff out of storage facilities when people...

different kind of fish You might consider pygmy aka sparkling or croaking gourami. They get to be 1" which is a little bigger than you want. Their not real eye catching but they make for a lot of interest with the right background. They can be a little timid till they settle in but mine like...

Is there room for more or am I overstocked?

Planet Catfish has quite a bit of information on your pleco. Common Plecos get to be about 12" as an adult. They can get territorial towards others of their species. They have a tendency to move things and uproot plants as they grow, not meaness just that big. They seem to need wood to rasp...

Is there room for more or am I overstocked?

Your going to have a problem if it is a common pleco. Those guys can get awfully big. You might see if the petshop will take him back. Try oto's for algae. They can be a little hard to get to survive but once your past the first month their very hardy little guys. Adults are only 1 1/2...

Today I asked my favorite fish guy how to count Kuhli's for my stocking limits are they 4" or can you count them as 2 because their so skinny? I was completely bumfuzzled when he told me "They don't count at all in a well aereated tank. As long as you keep up on your water changes. Bottom...

could I fit in a couple more fish?

Thank you for the suggestions. I know I'm picky but I made a few mistakes starting out and don't want my innocent fish to suffer because of my oh-ohs I already considered the rams and decided no. They like the tank a lot warmer and do nibble on plants occasionally. I have a friend who has...
