    Idk if you're getting red cherry shrimp I'f you're only paying .33$ I think you might be talking about ghost shrimp. And yeah cherrys are among the easiest to breed. Just leave em alone and they do their business!

    Na the yellow tint in the water is coming from the tannis leaching from the new pieces of drift wood. I also use tetra backwater that results in a water tint. The fish like it and I don't mind the coloration.

    Have about 10 Yamato shrimp and I was interested in maybe getting some cherry shrimp or some others and I'm not sure how compatible the different species are? Any specifics to watch out for?

    The shrimp have turned out to be my favorites, their personality is just so funny and different. The red tail is always stirring up everyone but I'm not seeing any signs of stress so I'm assuming it's ok for now. I have another 20gal long I can set back up if he becomes too aggressive

    As for the plants I have two swords, a bunch of java moss, and the rest are random plants I got from a friends tank that have just taken off, I'm sorry I don't know the names :(
