Hey guys, after leaving my filters off for a couple days, I turn on my aqueon quiet flow 55 and boy is it loud. So I strip it down and clean it.. nothing. Sounds like the impeller is jacked up. Clean it several times, nothing in the way. No snails, gravel, sand etc. How can I fix this?

I have little teeny tiny white specs on my glass. Upon further magnification they appear to be little shrimp, but there's no way they're this small. I'm talking like littttttle white specs. No pic because they're too small!
