Unforntunetly I have only got a 10 gal so I cant have a clown loach is there nothing I can do apart from fish them out and get assassins?

So I was a bit worried today when I saw a baby snail in my tank
I've just noticed a lot of silver balls could. They be eggs:
You can just about see them at the top could it mean anything I'm a bit worried about the babies anyway here is a pic of the adult-

Ok thanks for your information I'll pull my filter upwards so it makes a more fast of a faster current more often. Do I have to do it all the time? What's the name? I know I don't know but when I bought them I don't remember any said about hill stream loaches sorry

Today I went to my LFS and got some 'green away' which helps the water, the really good news is that my tank is not green anymore!!!
A big thanks to Rivercats and all the other people as it has really helped me!!!
Ok so I went to my LFS today and there were no nerite snails so I got some other nice ones which I can't remember the name o but if you want I'll get a pic. It turned out I really like them and I'm thinking about zebra snails!

It green algae. I have the lights that came with the fish box interpret tank. I leave my lights on 7am-9pm. I do a water change weekly and a gravel clean numerous times. It's a sponge filter with carbon. Heres a picture:
