Senegal Bichir discoloration -be concerned?

My senegal bichir Dragon I noticed has discoloration on the top of his head, into the beginning of the neck above the gills and a streak along his top left side to the side of his dorsal fin... I don't know how long he's had this but I'm just noticing it now..I don't know if it's anything bad though since he's only my second and I've only been trying them for almost a year and my first never had this problem that I know of. The discoloration itself is almost the same color as his under belly only more white... and on brown scales it's kind of noticable. I noticed it after I caught him to move him into a different tank.

I am not knowledgeable on the bichir species, but a lot of fish after going through a stressfull time (you moved him to another tank) can have darker or varied coloring. Is he showing any other sign of illness?

No but neither did my other one before it died ^^;

Could be because of the stress from moving to the other tank.
