That was my reasoning in getting the Zebras. I knew they'd could handle it plus I like them and am going to have those in my tank.

I don't think large changes are either. The bacteria is on the sides of the tank and filter and gravel. I'm sure I'll get nitrite soon.

Whenever I have doubts I usually test. There isn't any harm in doing another test if you think there was another spike. It's better safe then sorry. But also you want to make sure you have enough ammonia and nitrite so your Good bacteria have some munchies to snack on. If you get rid of all your...
