Its only on my driftwood that iv had about 6months now. I just noticed the spots today . I haven't touched then yep in fear they could be eggs or what not.

it didn't take any time to build n not really sure how much it helps I just built it cuz my tank already had the holes drilled. And I didn't want to buy a filter when I had the materials on hand. Its super quiet and keeps the water really clean so I'm happy with it.
How about putting crushed liverock from a sw tank as the final stage in my sump I'm building for my fw? seems like it would be a great bb collector ?
