I love that look. I have a store bought canister and 2hob filters. They are very little work to maintain. But when they burnout I was thinking of making my own. How much work was that and what benefits does it give you?

it didn't take any time to build n not really sure how much it helps I just built it cuz my tank already had the holes drilled. And I didn't want to buy a filter when I had the materials on hand. Its super quiet and keeps the water really clean so I'm happy with it.
