I picked up a handful of sunburst and red platys yesterday and put them in my planted 10 gallon...I inspected them before I put them in the tank and as soon as I put them in I noticed one of the red guys had a big white spot on its side. I'm not sure if it's ick, it looks like it was attacked...

So I just got my finnex fugeray-r light in the mail today...and I have 2 questions about it. It says it has 3 settings on it, but I only see 2...red and white, and just red. Now this is only a 5 watt light and I put it on my 10 gallon planted. Is this sufficient lighting or should I put this on...

Ok so I'm thinking about going with the finnex fugeray-r ultra slim LED...thoughts?

Want to start scaping my 10 gallon planted but don't know what kind of lighting to use...I have a fluval compact 13w fluorescent light (about 8" long)...will this suffice for lighting or should I get a new lighting fixture? And if so, LED or fluorescent? My order of plants should be here...

I am not happy with this filter at all...I'm on day 2 with it and my water is already losing clarity. It also produces tons of bubbles for no reason and it's kind of annoying. The tank is cycled.
