I was thinking in my 45 gallon tank w/ sand, angelfish, cories, some ottos, and true rummynose tetras. How many of each would be able to be in the tank, for optimum thriving.

My botia dug this huge pit in the corner of the tank, but there are no female botias in the tank. He's the only one. So why did he do it? He is sitting in the bottom of the pit.

My three Bala sharks are constantly bumping/hitting into each other. they also while doing this kind of nip at each other, but they don't mind. No retaliation or running from it. It's very strange.

My dempseys bred about every 2 weeks and the fry die in the process because it's a 125 tank with about 12 other cichlids and some fast baby eaters, anyway, what will it take to slow down the rate of mating since it puts the tank in such turmoil. They take over about half the tank. Thanks

Recently, about 10x the amount I would normally feed my fish was spilled into the tank, I tried to get some out by sucking it out with a water hose, but there is still quite a bit. If I pat the gravel some crud comes up, so I'm asking if this much will kill my fish or what will happen? Also...
