I just picked up a Hillstream loach with it also called a butterfly plecto. There really good and look good in the tank. Shoudl try one of them. I guess there best kept with some numbers as well.

hey I was plannign on adding a small powerhead to my 55 gallons just like a 175gph and wonderign it it better to hand it on the top or to stick it on the bottom and let the water run low on the tank?

I think it might be the test kit. I friend of mine used the same name brand and he said he got the excat same reading as I did then it took it to the LFS and it OH was fine and they told him those test kits were "poop" So I will get them to test it and get a new kit I guess.

ok I got a older skimmer from a friend. was free so cant complain. Says its a "Lee's" protien skimmer. Take the wooden air defuser. Only thing it its apart and the box doesnt really tell ya how to set it up. anyone use these before and know the right way to do it? expecialy with the air lines
