    Betta with fin rot?

Well this is my guy today! I think he's looking much better. I used the betta revive as suggested and have kept very clean water. Still has some rot but is looking and acting much better. Thanks all for the advice!

Does anyone change their aquascape for the seasons?

Ah these are awesome! I never thought of decorating for the seasons but now I definitely am. Thanks!

    7.5 gallon stocking

Whoa. Not to be rude but that is totally overstocked. As for the original post, have you considered a betta? or maybe a few male guppies? 7.5 gallon would be an awesome home for betta and shrimp unless you want multiple fish

    Additions to my betta tank

Totally possible! And 35 liters is plenty. There is a chance the betta might snack on your shrimp but you never know until you try. Also I would get multiple shrimp because their bioload is close to nothing and it's nice to have a little colony of them. You can put tons in a 35 liter. The otos...

    Betta with fin rot?

Thanks! I think I'm going to give him a week in just the clean water and see if I see any improvements. If not then I will try what you suggested!

    Betta with fin rot?

Thanks everyone! Luv4bettas: I heard bettafix is the same thing as melafix but it is just diluted and a very lower concentration. So couldn't I just use melafix at a reduced dose?

    Betta with fin rot?

So I got a new male betta at Petco two days ago and when I questioned them about it having fin rot I was told that it was just the way this one looked. Well upon having him home for two days it looks a lot like fin rot on the tips of his fins to me. Do you think it looks like fin rot? If so...

    My new 30 gallon

Looks awesome! Just a note- the tetras and I believe the loaches like to be in bigger groups so you may want to consider getting a few more of each

    Platy Emergency

I would definitely do some research on swim bladder. It could be the issue and It seems common with platys. Also as a side note I would personally up the water changes to once a week. Good luck!

    3 gallon planted tank

Check out this site. It categorizes the plants by light needs. Also just googling low light plants will give you tons of info that I can't provide. Good luck! http://www.aquariumplants.com/mobile/Category.aspx?id=25

    3 gallon planted tank

Did you already get the 3 gallon? If you haven't I would definitely try to get a 5 gallon instead. It is still small enough for a desk and you can have more stable heating in it as well as space for your betta. Anubis, Java fern, and Java moss have all grown well in my low light tanks so that...

How long do these guys have before they drop?

They both look very close! A week at the absolute most before they deliver
