Think I might be losing a danio. He's been just floating around at the top for awhile but now he's resting on the gravel and his back fin is very droopy. I know he's still alive because I can see him moving slightly and not sure what to do for him. Going to try a w/c and see if that perks him up

Haha yeah I've had it at 86 for about 2 days now. I've been using the API Super Ich as directed but I noticed 2 danios with a couple spots on them a few hours after my 2nd dose. Thinking I might go up to 88 and do a w/c tomorrow and another dose of meds.

Thanks guys. I got the heater and meds yesterday and it's been about 24 hours since starting treatment. Dosed with API Super Ich as directed and temps been at a steady 84 and everyone seems to be doing fine. Debating going up to 86-88 before my next dose of meds tomorrow.

Lost the Rummynose. He was in such a bad spot that if the Ich didn't jump ship, I definitely knocked them loose.

I'm debating what I should try first. It's been two days since I noticed it and that lone rummy is the only one showing any signs still though I have lost 4 others in those 2 days. I have 1 rummy and ember tetra and 5 assorted long fin danios. Would they be ok with temps rising to 86-89°...

I have an apono bulb that has begun sprouting and i want to place it some where else in my tank. I just unburied it and it has a a bunch of roots maybe 1-1.5inches long. Is it possible to cut these and replant and be ok? Will they gow back? Should i just replant them long?

Have a newly set up 20g high. Just wondering more or less of what i could fit in a tank this size. I have regular black gravel,several live plants,and a heater. My current stock is just two rummynose tetras and two albino corys.

I didn't knew it grew roots from the bananas but I knew better than to bury as last time i got one i did and it rotted and died in a few days.

That sounds like it could be it. When I put the the tabs in they softened and completely broke apart right away bit wasn't sure if that was normal.

Im using Tetra Flakes. Never thought that might be it but noticed though that when I put in the flakes it cause the "oil streak" before ot floated down. And TBH they are a few months old.

Yes I vigorously washed both so im not sure what it could be. It doesnt seem to be harmful as my fish are doing fine and my plants are still sprouting. Just noticed though that there isa film at the top of the water like an oil slick.

Thanks for th advice. I got a banana plant as well because I was nervous the bulbs werent going to grow and so far it sprouted two leaves since. I feel really lucky and am really excited because as of last night all of my 6 bulbs have begun sprouting.
