I begin adding fish to my 55 Amazon biotope-ish tank in two days. Tank specs: 2 angelfish, 6 false juli cories, 1 bn pleco, 6 some ottos, and 20-30 schooling fish. The tank is moderately planted with lots of driftwood.
What I can't decided is whether to just do a school of Cardinal tetras (I realize potential conflict with angels) OR whether to do a school of Cardinal tetras and rummy nose tetras together. It would either be 20-25 cardinals alone OR 10-15 cardinals + 10-15 rummynose.
I've heard cardinal & rummynose schools look really good together but I've also heard that two schools in a 55 would look disjointed and the rummynoses wouldn't school tightly. Thoughts?
