I have alot of non-green plants which do not color up nearly as well as they do in high nitrate tanks. They do best in low nitrate-high phosphate conditions which I couldn't do with El. Personally when I decided to go with dry ferts I researched both methods and I just saw no reason to dose excess when I could dose the same ferts in controlled amounts, which btw is better for the types of plants I keep IMO, and still ensure my plants have all the nutrients they need. I have mostly stem plants which you know draws ferts from the water and this method has produced excellent results.

I haven't forgotten my post phone took a poo(which I do most of my Internet stuff on) bad stock of rummy nose from LFS out of 24 22 died in 24 hours but have to give them credit they admitting to having poor stock when I came to pu my order and have worked hard to get it right.

So after a big rescaping

Not much going on been super busy. Water perimeters good. Added 3 otos and now have an ICK Outbreak

Well I decided I wanted to know just how fast all my plants are growing so did a massive cut back. While doing that found my BGR laid eggs on a leaf oops. And build a moss floor for my Shrimpland tank which will be used for RCS due to my fish will eat most if not all baby shrimplets. Free protein IMO
