Those are some awesome frags ryshark. I really like the red planet to. If you don't mind my asking, how much do those frags run for?

Thanks Zer0! I don't mind at all. The prices I paid for the corals above are:
Pink Smoothie Digi $40
Palmers Blue Millie $40
Rouge Millie $50
Red Planet $55 (Here is the picture of the RedPlanet when I first got it)

Yeah, i really like the smoothie as well. It has very nice colors.

Thanks for the info ryshark. ;) Those are some pretty costly corals, but so worth it. Have you ever seen the rainbow monticap? I think that's what it may be.. rainbow something.. lol. It looks like the seasons greetings monti you have.. only it has a wide array of some very vibrant colors.

Those are more costly because they are "Limited Edition" or "name brand" corals. You can get much larger pieces for less money if they don't have the title. I think the monti you are talking about is the rainbow monti but it is not a cap. It is an encrusting monti(like the seasons greetings). That would be cool if thre was a cap version of it, but I don't think so. Not yet at least. Here is the rainbow monti on this site, it is also a Tyree/reeffarmers piece.... http://reeffarmers.com/

I agree, great looking frags.

I just bought a new pack of Nori this past weekend at a different Asian market than the one I usually go to. Sounds like you need to buy the pack of 50 like I do. There were two brands; 1 cost $7.49 the other cost $8.49. The size was the same, but the net weight was different. Thinner sheets in the cheaper brand, so I splurged and spent the extra buck.

Make sure you get the UNSEASONED. At first all I saw was the seasoned seaweed. Further down the aisle I found the roasted stuff. Different markets import different brands. I can get the brand name if you like when I get back home tonight.

Thanks!
What does the Nori you buy say under Ingrdients? Any funky stuff or just seaweed?

I'll check it tonight, but I'm pretty sure the ingredients are: Seaweed

It's dried and roasted, but not seasoned.

OK, it's a clear package with GREEN top and bottom. Forget it. Here's the front of the package:

And the INGREDIENT: (notice no S)

I like that, the only ingredient listed is seaweed. I will have to find an asian market and see if they carry that one. Thanks.

This is the same package I got last time and it's pacakged in CA so I assume you can get it locally. If not this brand just look for the roasted. The seasoned packages were clearly marked on the front that they werre seasoned. In CA you may be able to buy in your grocery store. I used to get it from the sushi station in the grocery ($5.00), but they won't sell it anymore. They say they only have enough for their own use so I'm forced to go the Asiam market.

Lastly, I purchased a new canopy. I have been unusually slow about getting it ready to swap out my old one. The new one is about 16" tall compared to my current canopy of 12" tall. So far I have drilled out 4-holes for fans, I still need to drill to mount fans and lights, then take down my old canopy and transfer everything over. I think part of the reason it has been taking me so long is because I can't get the canopy off and on without help. Its not very heavy just awkward to pick up with only one person because it is over 6' long.
