28 gallon bow front with missing center support

I have a 28 gallon bow front aquarium I got off of craigslist. The previous owner cut the center support off. I am looking at options to fix it.

I have seen a plexi support beam screwed into the top to replace but we don't have enough left to screw it in.

I did see that someone replaced the entire top black trim piece with the center support. He ordered it through the manufacturer. Problem is I don't know who the manufacturer is/was. Should I just contact a manufacturer and ask how much or contact dealers?

My cross bar was broken in my OG 72 and my husband screwed a thick piece of wood into the front and back agree the cross beam originally wood. I think he did a huge gooping of JBWeld an the bottom of the cross bar area and then drilled into it!!
