29 gallon 1 centerpiece & 1 school stock suggestions? ????

I have an empty 29 gallon tank right now that I'm thinking about putting 1 centerpiece fish in and 1 school of about 10-15 fish in.

Any suggestions????? No angelfish. I have a couple in my 90 already.

I'm not sure if cichlids can be in the dank tank as neons. The only cichlids I know of that can stay in your tank is a bolivian ram sorry, I don't know enough about cichlids to help.

Shelldwellers would work in a 29 but ideally not with tetras as their water requirements are different. A keyhole cichlid could work but something like a 40 gallon would be better for them. Other than that and the ones previously mentioned there aren't many other cichlid options for a 29g. A gourami or a betta are good alternatives.
