Hey everyone - been gone for a while with SW on the back burner. I just got a 29 gallon bow front and I really want to setup a salt tank. Question is, since this is my first tank (and it is on my large desk so it will be seen many times a day and get attention) do you think it would be ok to do this?

Should I go with a small salt with LSB, LR and fish only for the time being? Or should I bail and get some nice Gouramishttp://www.aquariumfish.net/images_01/gourami_neon_blue_male.jpg fresh water pufferhttp://www.pufferfish.co.uk/aquaria/species/pufferfish/types/images/tetrfluv.jpg and some cleaner snails and a crab or 2 - I saw all of these at a lfs that said they would be ok together and they were not seriously aggressive fish. I am a fish idiot here so please tell me know if they are ok together.

Salt or Fresh is the question. I have a full setup for fresh, but I really rather go salt. The ONLY concern with salt that I am asking about is that its not a large tank.

Thanks
Scott

Damn, I cant delete my posts - that sucks.

Ok, well it looks like nobody answered and since I came up with my own answer, I was going to delete the post since nobody posted. But I cant.....

I am going with Freshwater for now because its a bit more affordable for the time being.
