I am picking up my flowerhorn tonight.....very excited. I also have a 30 gallon tank that I wanted to set up so that I could provide him with live food on a regular basis. Whats a good food source for Flowerhorns?

Probably NOT goldfish or other feeder fish.....a diet of live fish can cause problems for your fish...impaction of bones, diseases/parasites from the feeders, plus feeder fish have little nutritional value. A variety of frozen and/or freeze dried foods is much better.

itching to see pix...
as pointed out, commercial feeders may cause more problems than benefits. but, if you are willing to grow your own feeder fish, that is very much possible. but don't rely on them to be the staple food, just occasional treats. IMO guppies, platies, swordtails would be excellent choices, as they breed on a regular basis.
