Aquarium Advice Freak
Hellohello, everyone!
Our local aquaria society held their spring auction on Sunday and I cleaned up! I was able to pick up enough plants to completely re-do my community tank as well as a fully-equipped 10g tank, all for a little more than $100.
Needless to say, if you have a local aquarium club and you haven't checked it out yet - DO! I saw so many fish and plants on Sunday that I've never seen in person, all for ridiculously low prices. Best of all, they were healthy and happy because they were raised and taken care of by fellow aquarists. I picked up a bag of 15 Yellow Jacket Endlers for $9. NINE DOLLARS!
Anyway, enough ranting. After several hours spent setting up the new tank and completely planting the community, here's what I'm left with.

Please forgive the cloudiness, I took those pictures just after I finished planting and changing more than half the water.
I must say I'm really pleased with it! The fish are absolutely thrilled. I can't get over how lively they are now that the tank is fully planted. Here's a video of them during feeding time last night:
Feeding time in the community tank!
What do you all think?
