Currently have a 45gal tank that is heavily planted, also it gets 6-8 hours of light a day and has come to the end of the cycling process.
I have done a fish in cycle with
2 boesemani rainbowfish
2 red rainbowfish
2 flying foxes( algae eaters)

I am just wondering how you would stock this tank. I have two ideas in mind, I could either have:
2 boesemani rainbows
2 red rainbows
2 emerald rainbows
4 flying foxes
6 bronze cories

Or:
8 tiger barbst
1 rainbow shark
4 flying foxes
6 bronze cories

Any suggestions on what you would do??? I am open to all sugestions

Boesemani are a schooling fish, you should have at least 5 for them to be happiest and healthiest. I think your tank may be a bit small for them anyway, as they get fairly large and really need something 4 feet long (55/75/90). You may want to take this fish and exchange for something different.

Tiger barbs are mean fish. People here will tell you to keep them in a species only tank. I have no experience with them.
