5 Gallon Betta & Ghost Shrimp Tank

Hi all I have a 5 gallon with filter and heater. Are 12 ghost shrimp too many to add with my male betta?

Remember if they are successful they may breed so your numbers may increase. And that will be fine. Shrimp have tiny bio loads.

4 would be a good test. I would not go beyond 8 personally. Just watch what happens... some Bettas do well with shrimp... others attack them. Honestly if they have lots of hiding places that would be a start.
