No way to small. They get at least a foor long and like to be in groups. There many other type of loaches better suited for a 50 g

Temporarily while they are young, yes, as they are not fast growers. Their adult size mandates tanks of 100g+ however.

Zebra or yoyo loaches would be a better option.

I agree wile there young it's A'OK but they do get really, really.

Yoyo loaches get 5-6 inches and they are full of personality. By far one of my favorite fish.

Yoyo loaches are cool! I have two and I like them so much I'm buying 3more!
