Hello! I am thinking of upgrading from my 10 gallon tank to a 55 gallon tank soon. I was wondering if this fixture/price is good. (I want medium lighting):

Aquarium Lighting T5 Fluorescent Light Fixture: AquaticLife T5 HO Dual Lamp Light Fixtures

(The fixture I'm looking at is the 48" one, and it is 108 watts).

If not, what do you guys recommend? Thank You! :thanks

I had this fixture and loved it. I'm about to put another one on my new 55.

They're also the same price I paid.

Are the bulbs included good?

I believe so. I bought marine lights for my reef tank and they were great lights for that. So I'm assuming the fw ones would be too. I'm sure they're good for plants. You could always replace the bulbs later to something you like better.

That's the nice thing about T5 fixtures vs LEDs; you can always change the bulbs to fit the situation. However, you'll be changing them annually. At ~$20 per bulb ($40/year) it will add up. Not to discourage you, just something to keep in mind.
