Here is my 55 gallon reef tank with a 33 long sump. It has been running for about 4 months.

Taotronic LEDs
Nac 7 skimmer
With refugium

I actually really like them. Very bright and not even on full blast.
One of the fans started clicking but stopped recently so I don't really have any complaints about them.

I'm looking into getting an apex controller for my birthday

Just an FYI. Apex stopped making the apex lite. You can only buy the Jr. Now and the high priced ones. No more middle ground. They just came out with the apex gold which is like 700 or 800 dollars.

Ya I saw that the lite was discontinued.
Do you know why this is? I can actually get one from my local fish store.

Yeah I bought one off Amazon. I guess they just wanted to bring out the gold edition.

How do you like the lite version? I can't decide between that and the standard.

The lite is nice. It is for the person who wants one but can't afford a the frills yet. I wouldn't recommend the Jr. I bought the lite because of its upgradable capabilities in the future when u have more money. The Jr. Doesn't have that.
