Asking because this may be a possibility for me soon, but if you could create any type of biotope in a 55 gallon aquarium (freshwater only), what would it be and what would you stock it with?

I would do an amazon Biotope and get a bunch a branch Manzanita wood and plant some Vals and throw some indian almond leaves in. A huge school of cardinal tetras would be prime along with 4-5 wild color angels with a cool plec and a good sized group of corys. (y)

Sounds very cool and was thinking something similar myself! Only annoying part about tanks like that is that the Angels would be after your tetras!

I would probably go Asian with a few cherry barbs, large school some type of rasboras, loaches (kuhlis!), maybe some sort of gourami for a centerpiece.
