So I am trying to figure out some lighting, and was looking for 8000K spiral CFL, well I have not been able to find any, I can However find the 6700 at home depot, and I found some 10000K online.

So which is better? I have multiple species of plant, and will have about 3 wpg or q little less.

IMO 6700k is fine. I think i may have the same ones you may be getting. Are they Sylvania 13watt, 800lumen, 6500k?

Both will grow plants the same IME. The 6700K is more a greenish yellow color light while the 10000K looks more white. If using a single bulb, the 10000K is more appealing to the eye IME. Really, either one would be fine for the plants.

When I have more than one bulb, I like to mix the 2, but if you are using a spiral, I assume you may have 2 bulbs, one on each side (right, left)...in that case I'd get 2 of the same.
