well this is my 8ft thats been in the process for about 18 months. i had two doner tanks worth of fish that went into it. It started out pretty poor as my gallery photos show.

Doesn't matter this is what it looks like now! :)

I love it.

I love the discus. Nice, clean, and peacefull. Very Cool. Just out of curiosity how hard is it taking care of those guys? Everything I've herd is that they are some demanding fish.

Oh, whats the jump box for in the middle of the stand?

blackouts.... havent had one yet though!

i dont seem to have too many problems. i do pwc once a week and clean the filters evry fortnight on a swithching basis...

JW if its personal preference to keep your water level that low?

Very nice tank, love the fish.

Cool never thought of using a jump box. What do you do just hook it up to a power inverter?

Exactly. a little 12v/240v converter.

i should tell you about my fish too!

cant remember them all but here it goes.

13 discus, various types.
4 plecos, 1 clown, 2 BN, and 1 sailfin.
1 pictus catfish at 4in
2 large Black ghost knife fish.
about 30 tetras and small fish
2 freshwater mussels
4 GBRs

i'm adding more soon. keep you updated.

oh and the water level, no real reason for it. i will have to fill it up!

Very nice tank and beautifull fish!
The more water in your tank, the more stable parameters are! Not that it seems like your discus need better water, they look great! (y)

Very true.....but since it's an 8 foot tank, there is probably twice as much water in that tank with it half full than most of us have in any of our full tanks!

Awesome tank...keep the pictures coming.... I would love to have a tank that size someday!

I added some more fish today,
10 red rummynose and
10 harliquin rasboras
OH and another two FW mussels....

Ill just go take some more pics.!

I got some more batteries for my camera... sorry for the wait! :)
