Aquarium Advice Addict
We were able to pick up a few of these rare livebearers at an auction a few months ago. They've been kept with cories ever since, but we decided we'd like to make more of an effort to breed them. I'm guessing our soft water just isn't helping them out much. I got the JBJ nano 180 tank out, cleaned it up, and used marine sand to help buffer the water (rinsed of course) mixed with some PFS. Here's how it turned out with some plants and driftwood added.
And a view from the left side:
We're growing out this baby yellow tylo in this tank as well, at least for a while.
And a few pics of the fish... there are 5 Puebla platies in this tank. At least 2 appear to be females but it's really hard to get a good look at them, lol. Hopefully they will become more outgoing soon.
