actinic lighting

I have an actinic light with a black background. The light is making the background blue and it doesnt look good plz help!

Is the tank planted or not? And it's freshwater right? All you need to do is change the bulb out. IMO anything 10000K and lower will work, its just what are you wanting to use it for?

i have a non-planted freshwater tank and i have the actinic light for my glowfish.

Well then it's either change the light so the background color looks right or keep the atinic for the fish. You really don't have any other options that I know of.

Maybe a black light instead, just a thought.
