I have a 75 gallon tank and recently heard of these fish thanks to this forum.
I was wondering if I could add 5 or so scarlet badis to my tank but I have 15 White Cloud Mountain minnows, 10 cherry barbs and 10 Galaxy rasboras also 10 give or take Amani shrimp, and 8 dwarf corydoras. There is a slight current for the minnows up top but down below minimal flow. Working on dwarf sag carpet.

I'd worry about them getting enough food. They are very slow, deliberate hunters that prefer live food. They can be shy and intimidated by larger fish. They are not social and like separate territories in heavily planted tanks. I've only kept them in 10g tanks. Perhaps others have different thoughts on this.

I've heard they are one of those that is really just best for species tank. Coursair hit it pretty spot on.

They are awesome little fish, one of my favorites!
