I have pennywort and it grows very easily. It will even grow up out of the water. Doesn't need ferts or lots of light.

I was disappointed in how weedy it looked, and it was getting beaten up in the current, so after it floated long enough to branch (just a few days) I trimmed it into lots of smaller pieces that had v shapes ... I hooked the big ones around the heater cord and the smaller ones on the big ones and like the way it became a lush group that stays put ... A little crazy yet drapey looking, like a grape arbor.

Trenn, I'll have to give that a shot. The mature leaves are large, so might let it go for a bit to get some growth and then look for the "V's." to cut and place. Otherwise it's doing o.k. It will need to acclimate to the tank and then I'm sure it will take off like a weed.
