So I've had my tank for a while now and I promised myself I would buy three German blue rams once I knew my other fish were healthy and fine in the tank. That is, I'd buy them if I could find them... No where near me seems to sell them! Everyone is catching on to their beauty and buying them up.
Well on a whim yesterday, a friend and I took a short drive to a new aquarium spot we had never been to. As I was admiring his row of FW fish, not expecting anything amazing, I stumble upon a tank of about 12 extremely healthy GBRs. I was so ecstatic that they looked so good so I bought three of them. =)
And this is their tank:
I'm fairly positive that the two in the last picture might have already been a pair at the store. The male seemed to protect her and chase away any of the others when they came near their corner of the tank. They don't go anywhere without each other in my tank!
My flame dwarf gouramis have been a bit territorial but I'm sure that will change soon. For now I'm watching these little guys like crazy. They are eating and exploring just fine so far. They are definitely a little smarter than my tetras and gouramis.
