Looking to start adding corals to my tank. What are some great/good beginner corals? Also what specific levels should I check and maintain?

As always any info is helpful!

Zoanthids, palythoas, mushrooms, Kenya tree, green star polyps, leathers, duncans.

Check ph, nitrates, calcium, alkalinity, magnesium, phosphate.

My very first coral was a frogsspawn, now has 10 heads. I've only lost a bubble, don't know why...

Kenya trees can become weeds and grow almost out of control. I've never got them because of what I've seen in other tanks. Green Star Polyps are kinda the same, but when mine started growing like crazy, I knocked off a big chunk and swapped with someone for some Zoas.

One of my first was a bi-color hammer. Started off three heads and just about a year later it is about ten or twelve.

I have a friend that's going to give me a Kenya that he split and made frags off as well as the green star, so I'll see how it goes, hopefully the tank is big enough to not get/look over grown
