Adding Dried coral to tank

Hey, I want to add dried coral to my tank for looks. (Not an expert enough or have enough funds to buy live coral yet) Do I need to cure the coral in the same fashion as i would LR, or can I just put it in there as is... It has been sitting out as decor for like 10yrs, and now that I have a tank I think it would look better in it... Any suggestions or ideas?

I would clean it up pretty good first and then it should be OK. It should not have any die off because it is dry. I`ve read where some will boil these in hot water to make sure they are clean. You should be OK.

I agree, if anything, boil it.
