Ummmm about 5-6 months

Mines not a red knob but same family? You can hand feed them silversides so it's not like you need to be very concerned with algae growth for them to feed on.

I haven't tried feeding him. I just got him last night so I was only able to feed this morning and then I've been in class all day but I'll try some krill when I get back since that's what my lobster loves to eat lol

Just to compare notes what have you heard about as far as care for these big stars.

Just that they are extremely sensitive to changes in ph. Oxygen and salinity levels and they don't do well with copper
