hey there, im looking into getting some of these lovely fish, and wanting to get a heap of information about them. for example, what size tank? i was looking at a 8g for them, them being 1 male with 3 females. with the tank rather heavily planted, though the plants will have large broad leaves ( they are anubias barteri) this would leave plenty of room under the canopy. would this size tank be okay, another think needed to be added would be little caves. which would be scattered around the tank. would this be an appropriate size or would it be too small, the leaves of the plants will in site cover up the caves and provide a more secure feeling to the fish.

also ive read that they prefer live food, or frozen food to flakes. is this true?

would it work also having a male with less females if room is a factor? perhaps 2 females and 1 male??

20 inches long, hmmmmm. sounds alright. im finding it rather hard to find particular tank sizes around here. there seems to be very minimum. either a 7.7 gal, 20 gal but its tall not long, and a 40 gal. sadly :(
