So after having my 10g for about 2 years, it's seen some changes. It was my first tank and the one that got me into planted tanks and fishkeeping in general. It was home to my first few fish (guppies and platies) which lived a longer life than I expected my first fish to live to.
After letting it go for a bit (because nothing was living in it), I decided to completely redo it, and to use the knowledge I know now to make a nice looking tank. I will use this thread as my build thread and update it as my tank progresses. I have a new canopy for it, a new heater, new lights, and a new filter (with matured BB from another tank).
This was my 10g when I kind of let it go;
(Note that it didn't look terrible in that picture, but after its inhabitants died it wasn't very appealing)
And this is the tank now redone, ready to start anew;
Hardware I'm using;
Finnex planted+
Aquaclear 30
Tahitian moon sand
Planned stock;
Endlers
Pygmy Corydoras
Sparkling Gourami
Many low-medium light plants (possibly higher light plants if I decide to dose co2/ferts)
I will keep you all posted!
