I have an Albino Plecostomus that was sold to me as a bristlenose so I thought the max length would be 5 inches. When I look at bristlenose pictures elsewhere mine does not look like them. I got it in January and it was about 2 inches. Can someone help me with how big this will get so I can plan my future tank size appropriately? I currently have this pleco and a green terror in a 46 gallon tank.

If it's a longfin albino bristlenose the max size is 6 in. I think. It's some sort of albino bristlenose, though, and they aren't monster fish.

I am not really a pleco expert but it looks like an albino Ancistrus sp.(bristlenose) Only the males get the big bristles.

Good algae eaters, don't get big, don't need much. 5-6"

Thanks everyone! I was hoping he wouldn't be a monster. I don't really have room for 2 huge fish in this tank but I would be willing to upgrade if I had too. It does a really good job of keeping the tank clean so I hope it can hold its own with my GT.
