Algae in Mbuna tank

If you want algae for algae grazzers...step 1: put a rock or 2 in a glass jar with water near a sunny window. step 2: wait . step 3: put algae covered rock in tank.
 
I've got tons of algae....and I dont like it. :) The fish are doing a pretty good job of eating it off the rocks...but I wish the brown stuff would hit the road!
 
I love algae in Mbuna tanks and Tropheus tanks best food there is. No prob unless you do not like the look or have plants. Brisle nose cats can get rid and/or a good sand sifter for the substrate. I add phosphates on purpose to get the stuff!

Depends on what you want. 8O :lol:

Brown to green is easy too increese the lighting.
