Algae problem

hello,
I have a problem with this coraline looking brown/green algae. its very hard to remove from the aquarium walls. i also have an acrylic aquarium so i cant use anything that would scratch it. what can i do to remove this?

well, i got good new and bad news..lol.. i got it all off with my scrubber pad. It took some elbow grease, but its complete. The bad news is I put a small scratch at the bottom of the side panel. the scratch is about 4 inches long and i think it could be buffed out but i dont want to drain the tank for that. I dont think anyone else would see it but i know its a "i know its there" kinda thing. Other then my on going hair algae that will never go away its back in normal shape.
