What would be the best thing to get rid of algae in my 29 gallon?

Before anybody can help you, we need some more information.

1) How many Watts of light do you have and how big is your tank?
2) How often do you change water and how long do you leave the light on per day?
3) Do you dose any fertilizer? Do you have a test kit for phosphate/nitrate? If yes, what are your levels?
4) Do you add CO2?
5) How does the algae look like? Compare to the algae pictures on this side: www.plantgeek.net
