I just noticed that my platys have a red gills. I researched it and it's most likely ammonia burns because my tank just cycled. Is there anyway to treat this? Will aquarium salt help? My parameters are good now by the way.

7.6 pH
0 ammonia
0 nitrites
10/20 nitrates (it's in my source water)

Also, I forgot to mention I have 3 plants.
Unless they are displaying signs of difficulty breathing, i would recommend just keeping the nitrates as low as possible and your ammonia and nitrites at 0ppm. They should heal up just fine.

They look okay. They're behaving as usual. I read aquarium salt helps?
