Try testing it tomorrow and see if the ammonia rises. Then again the next day, and the next. Just keep an eye on it, if it dosent rise much and your nitrate and nitrites stay low then you should be fine.

Ok thank you ?

Are you using an API test kit?

I found that my API kit always read .25ppm(at least to my eyes) and became suspicious.

I purchased a Salifert ammonia kit and my suspicions were correct. My ammonia has been zero all along. The API kit works great for all other tests but I will stick to the Salifert for ammonia.

I am lol it's quite hard to see the difference between 0 and 0.25 lol I might test normal tap water and compare them. Would that work
