Ok so today when I was feeding my fish my male Ancistrus temminckii was chasing the yoyos and the corys away and is acting real territorial. Most of the day he is fine feeding on the side but when I drop shrimp pellets or sinking waffers he hogs them. Is this normal? Does anyone else have these fish?

I have ABN and BN plecs, but they are not aggressive towards anything regardless of the circumstances. I have no experience with temminckii though.

I know sometimes they call them dwarf BN plecs...It just makes me wonder if they are getting enough food. He clears a whole part of the tank to himself to eat sinking pellets.
