I've noticed since I've moved my FW fish from a 10 gal to a 29 gal, that the angels ventral fins have grown to almost 2 inches in about a month. They were hardly noticeable in the 10 gal, but now they a large and exquisite. Is this a normal thing because now they have room to "spread their wings"?

It is probably a sign that they are maturing..... Also their overall growth rates probably increased when they got into the larger tank.

Keep in mind that the 2 angels and a few corys would be a full tank in that 29 gal when they are grown. It won't be long now before you will need to consider housing for all the fish currently in the 29. Silver Dollars also get quite large.

i would say for your 29 gallon that your angels will eventually get big enough and eat your guppies.. sorry to say sad but true.
