Used to be a monster fish keeper, have kept arows and some rays. Looking to get back into it again, any suggestions on snakeheads?

Not sure how well they fit in this category or not, but:

11"-12" Mpimbwe Frontosa:

Thanks Aski247!! I was trying to set my profile pic as my avatar but by the time I bet it to 80x80, u can't see anything. Soooooo, I think I'll just reset the camera or get the high school kid from down the street to do it right. Lol.

Very nice monster. What species do you have now that you are using the common name "wolf"? I've only heard the Dovii referred to as a Wolf Cichlid.

I'm keeping a Hoplias malabaricus (wolf fish) and Erythrinus erythrinus (red wolf fish).

Actually selling the top wolf. I've decided to cut back to just one tank and I'm going to expand my oddball collection. This particular Hoplias. mala must be kept in solitary.

I am SO gonna get one of those (someday)! What size tank are they in? 700 gallons? lol

These guys are mean.. but nothing compared to that Dovii.. he was pure evil.

The Red Wolf is full grown at 9"+. The other wolf could probably use a larger tank but as inactive as it is I think it's fine in a 48x18 footprint. They can get up to 16-18", if he ever got that big he'd need a 24" wide tank. Something like a 120g 48x24x24.
