Aquarium Advice Freak
Currently my amazon swords/jungle val are under constant attack by my new Festivum. The val was shredded, and bite marks have started popping up on my amazon sword's leaves. A new anubias leaf was destroyed, and she's starting to nibble on old leaves.
I've spent a lot of time/money on the plants I have now, but I really like the cichlid. Rather than rehome the fish, I'm thinking of just eating the money/time on those plants and going a new route with the plants.
So does anyone here know of any "safe" plants for a Festivum Cichlid?
Oddly enough, she is yet to touch the 2 small crypt wendtii and 2 "small" swords I have. I'm thinking that is only because they're at the bottom of the tank, and she is predominantly at the middle/top.
